Kalycito co-exhibited at the SPS IPC Drives 2018, Nuremberg, Germany along with OSADL and presented a real-time industrial network running open source OPC UA PubSub over TSN synchronized in the microsecond range. Our solutions were exhibited in EPSG and IIC TSN testbed booths as well.
At OSADL-Kalycito Booth:
Open ecosystem for OPC UA including TSN to enable Industry 4.0
Kalycito has been working on an open ecosystem initiative to establish open source resources for OPC UA including TSN that will enable development of high performance, deterministic industrial applications while also meeting the interoperability demands of Industry 4.0. Today, at SPS IPC Drives, we are co-exhibiting with OSADL at hall #6 – 201 presenting a real-time industrial network running open source OPC UA PubSub over TSN synchronized in the microsecond range.
At EPSG Booth:
Two standards – one seamless solution for Industry 4.0
Long-time member Kalycito has collaborated with EPSG to create a proof of concept that demonstrates seamless communications between POWERLINK at field level and OPC UA including TSN at M2M level. This involves five separate POWERLINK machine networks of multivendor Drives and I/O running in synchronization with a multivendor OPC UA including TSN network. This demo shows how OPC UA including TSN and POWERLINK based system deployments can be integrated to work with each other thereby paving the path for Industry 4.0 applications that demand such seamless vertical integration.
At IIC TSN Testbed Booth:
The IIC’s Time Sensitive Networking testbed focuses on enabling Industrial IoT and Industry 4.0 through deployment of open, standard deterministic networks within production facilities.
Kalycito being the only Indian company and the only service provider as a part of this testbed brings in a unique perspective of the challenges that end users such as machine builders and large system integrators face adopting this technology. This enables the silicon companies and automation OEMs in their standardization efforts.
